West Ham Team v Macclesfield
....... an opportunity to experiment or stick with a strong line up to maintain momentum?

Re: Any links or radio broadcasts tonight ?
Lesser opposition so would be tempted to play with a 2 in midfield to give a couple of lads a rest ahead of Saturday.

Adrian
Fredericks Diop Ogbonna Cresswell
Rice Sanchez
Antonio Snodgrass Perez
Hernandez

Diop and Rice are both young lads so should hopefully have the energy to cope with 3 games in a week no problem (you’d hope!)

All I can find is some spurious site with streaming links showing it as PPTV in China, but then saying there will be no stream when you click the link.

Quest is channel 144 on Sky, joe. They show football league highlights on Saturday nights at 9pm.

The Exeter side that comfortably beat our u-21s last night was mostly their reserve side, so I wouldn't play any youngsters in the starting team tonight against Macclesfield's deadbeats. Perhaps one or two off the bench when we've won the game.

Err because he was our best defender by some distance last season?

Quite why anyone picks Ogbonna in any team, regardless of opposition, baffles me.

Hahaha, you sound like a substitute school teacher :)

"Woe betide the boy who suggests they are not injured!"

For what it's worth, 'Hugh' is going with:

Adrian,
Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell
Obiang, Sanchez, Rice
Perez, Antonio, Snodgrass

Oxford played 90 mins last night so you imagine very unlikely to play this evening

tells you where his career is at I think

Re: West Ham Team v Macclesfield
Connor Coventry, Joe Powell and Grady Diangana all miss ed the U21's last night so I would imagine they are the only kids likely to be involved

How many times.......Xande Silva and Nathan Holland are both injured.

Re: West Ham Team v Macclesfield
We need to play a strong, cup team, and take it seriously while giving a few a rest.

Like most, I'd go for something like...

Adrian
Fredericks ?????? Ogbonna Cresswell
Antonio Sanchez Holland
Silva? Perez Snodgrass

That sort of thing, maybe with Diop at the back with a strong bench if required.

What is Pask like? Any good?

Maccelsfield = Rock bottom of the football league.

We should be able to pick a side from the fans in the surrounding pubs that ought to win this.

Lose this and beat Man U at the weekend. Lump on. You just know that's how we roll.

Re: West Ham Team v Macclesfield
Would still like to see a decent side out there, as realistically it's out best chance of both silverware and a visit to Wembley.

Nice mix of youth and experience and I think Anderson and Yarma still need to get used to the pace of English football, so why not.

Oxford is the classic case of too much too young.

There was a potentially decent player in there, but not if his ego took over. Which it obviously has done.

I wonder what the turnout will be ? 45 000 maybe?.

As for the team I would think at least 5 of the solids will be rested .

Re: West Ham Team v Macclesfield
Just seen Exeter's goals on Sky. Poor defending for both after the extended first half ended. Oxford didn't look too clever as we defended poorly two crosses from their left.Trott appeared to dive late for the first, and seemed badly positioned for the second running at first then diving too late at the post. Each time I watch Trott, I have grave doubts that he has first team potential.
As for Oxford, he appears to be lacking in attitude and authority.I think he's a busted flush unfortunately.

Oxford is playing at Exeter so won’t play tomorrow
Trott is in goal but I guess could sit on the bench
Lots of 18yo’s playing and the couple mentioned below presumably kept out for Macclesfield
Losing 2-0 while playing 27 mins of injury time at the end of the first half
